07 upgrade to 4wd

just like the title, I'll leave out the big story and get right to it.

Start with the donor, yes it looks beat up, but taking a peak underneath is another story.

i'll update as the fun goes on.

Wow! That was one hell of a roll over! Glad to see you were able to get the donor like you thought. You will be the first person I know of that will document the process!

Any details on how the accident happened? How did the occupant(s) fare?

I was wondering the exact same thing this morning after looking at the pics of the donor truck.

From what I could find, it was rolled 4-wheeling without insurance. No blood or anything that I could find, hard luck.

That's just wax. He tried to buff it out.

Wed after work is the prep day to drain stuff and get setup for this weekend. If everything works out, I might have most of the bottom dropped out in the first day.

The paint is actually rhino-lined, interesting application.

I thought I've seen this truck before... looks like it may be the same one? Different wheels/tires but looks similar.

The donor truck in this thread doesn't have a drop bracket kit like the one on TW, so probably not the same one. The OP is in Hawaii, so I'm going to assume the truck came from there and he didn't have it shipped from Idaho!

Will be interesting to see how this progresses, good luck with it!

Guess that rhino-lining isn't that tough, there may be a warranty claim.

There must be a good story behind that crash.
