Has got toyota celsior 1990 with few questions??????

hi everyone here, i have got this awesome car but i don't know exactly few terms in it. why boot doesn't open normally with key? my speedo doesn't work normally but when it's on higher speed then it just go to 0. just the fuel gauge works fine? last but not least which battery i can use in the key remote cuz i can't find it?

Are you sure it's not the valet key? Valet key will only open doors and ignition. It will not open boot and glove compartment. Try the key in the glove compartment and you will have an answer.

It's most likely the cable if its mechanical or it may be electric, in which case it 's a wire(s) has a short .

You can either open the remote and see which battery it uses or maybe call the dealership and get an answer there.
