Seat Heater Switch Location

I just bought a 2001 Avalon XLS /w leather interior. I'm planning on adding heated seat elements from HeaterSeats.com but I'd like to utilize stock style switches.

But I don't know where the stock switches were located. I've seen the switches themselves on eBay, but I'd like to find a photo of the stock switches. I would assume that there harness connections for adding this are already there. Anyone know for sure?

Oh, and please post pics!

I believe the switches to activate the heated seats are normally found as part of the climate control module. (not all climate control modules have these switches)

I'm interested to see how this goes...

Factory seat heater switches are in the climate control panel. I don't have them but have seen them - IIRC they are rocker switches at the bottom of the climate control panel on either side, mounted horizontally rather than up and down. The one after market installation I saw down here was drivers seat only and had a small rheostat mounted in the shift console panel just aft of the shift lever plate. (Not as much demand for seat heaters in Georgia)

Today I thought to check my owners manual. On the instrument overview illustration - they showed the seat heater switches right underneath the Climate Control LCD.

Anyone have a pic?

Wow, that is a great picture! I had found these switches on ebay that appear like this...

The eBay seller stated they were for Avalons 1996 to 2001. I think they are misinformed about what models these switches actually belong in!

I wonder what the chances are of finding one of those climate control panels at the junkyard! I'm not hopeful. Oh well, there are switches that come with the heating elements that are attractive. I'll just have to find somewhere to mount them.
