Hi all,
I'm looking to get bigger tires (285/75/R16) on my 06 Tundra. I drive this truck on the beach 7 months out of the year.
I'm looking for recommendations on tires and what type of lift I need to perform to get the result I need, i.e. what type of lift (body/suspension)?
I don't want cheap, but I cannot go crazy either. I'm not rock climbing here, just driving on very soft sand. I'm a total novice here, and could really use some good advice on which kits and tires to purchase.
I appreciate the help.
Matt

Hey man, i have a 3" lift from Toytechlifts.com lifts front end up 3" and rear end 1.5" gives a nice level look. im running 285 75 R16 which is the biggest you can run with out more mods so ive been told i run Buckshot XMT's Real nice tyres but not played in the sand just Alabama red dirt!! they have a real deep groove though lift was about $230 as i all ready had new shocks but shocks not neccasary.

Looks good. I ended up going with the Bilstien 5100's and Mickey Thompson's Baja ATZ 285/75/R16. I'm just waiting for the shocks to arrive and hopefully they'll be on by next week. I'll send before/after pics when I'm done.

Nice wheels. What brand / kind of rim do you have?

Stock rims . . . someday I'll get custom rims. Performance first, cosmetics second. Next project is horsepower and exhaust.
