real quick question...i've been searching but can't find what i want to find because i dont know what its called....but i need some help...does anyone know the name of the wires that goes into the distributor...not the spark plug wires, but the wires that goes into the cap itself....i know it is a bit unclear, but i believe i have a bad wire that is causing my car to idle frequently...i want to replace that wire but dont know the name of it...i will post pic if needed, but in class atm...thanks and happy st pat. days..

this is the wire that i needed to know, its the plug with the spirally thingy....seen from this pic
this is where it leads to, which is where the distributor is...
that wire is faulty... in the middle of the wire it is split open, i just electric tape the dang thing...you can see my crappy taping work in this pic in the bottom left..

I found this diagram for a 93 Camry.
There are a couple different engine types so I'm not sure I grabbed the right diagram.
If the wire that your looking for is the one with the orange box around it,
then it is called the "Resistive Coil Cord". I hope this helps.

hmmmm...from the looks of the diagram it looks different from the actual picture...but it could possibly be it..im not sure though...thanks for looking man...anyone else can help out on this one??
